MDReader renders pasted, uploaded, and remote markdown in your browser. Uploaded files and pasted markdown stay on your device. Voice, speed, and editor preferences may be stored locally in your browser.

Remote URLs And Analytics

When you load a public markdown URL, your browser requests that URL directly. The site uses Trei web analytics to understand page visits and basic product usage without storing markdown file contents.

When MDReader fails, it may send bounded, masked error diagnostics to Trei's shared client-issue service. Reports do not include markdown source or input/output content. Error messages and stack traces are length-limited and token-like values are masked; diagnostic metadata filters auth tokens, secrets, URLs, paths, referrers, email/name, IP, location, and organization metadata.

Ads And Premium

Free MDReader pages may load Google AdSense ads. Premium no-ads users do not load AdSense after the browser confirms a product-scoped Premium entitlement for MDReader.
